A little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Ellis County, Texas. I have been in law enforcement for over 16 years where I specialize in investigating and reconstructing vehicle/train/fatality accidents. I am a Master Peace Officer and have been a motorcycle officer for over 15 years. More recently, I helped develop and implement the Department's new drone unit where we utilize drones for photogrammetry/videogrammetry for auto collisions, search & rescue and crime scene mapping.

I am a NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology- U.S. Dept. of Commerce) drone course proctor and drone instructor for my department. I recently became a member of Mountain West UAS based out of Buena Vista, Colorado where we recently bought property.

I have my FAA 14CFR Part 107 license to commercially operate unmanned aircrafts. I have operated DJI Matrice 300T, Matrice 30T, Mavic 3 Enterprise & Thermal and Avata at work.  I own a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with RTK, Air 3, Phantom 4 and Avata 2.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked on a variety of projects throughout my career. Each one has contributed to my professional and personal development and has inspired me creatively throughout my work.
